ASTA-Gold is a supplement that helps maximize youth overtime and it seemed a fitting theme. ASTA is a 4 letter word and so is gold. With words having even characters, I was drawn to the idea of using symmetry to create the logo.
Another source of inspiration was the periodic table in chemistry. Where the square generally has the symbol and under it, there is the name of the element.
